The stock market is gambling. Either you bet a stock goes up or you bet it goes down. And if your asllep at the wheel and it goes down real fast you lose big! The Stock Market is for insiders and brokers everyone else is just a mark. The insiders take the stock of the mark. Investing is a continuous process; gambling is an immediate event or series of events. This rule does seem to hold in most cases. Investing is a continuous process of deployment of capital in search of continually increasing net worth.
